No matter the size of your space, from expansive rural properties to compact urban balcony gardens, Even Spaces will tailor a design process to meet the needs of your project. Once we have met you onsite, we prepare a fee proposal that clearly outlines our process and approach to your brief, the timing and fees for design.
Typically the process may include -
A thorough understanding of the site is gained through a combination of onsite and desktop analysis. Consideration of the site opportunities and constraints in conjunction with your brief begin the iterative process of testing ideas and concepts. The design will be presented in plan, sectional elevations or visualisations complimented by images of plants and materials that have been selected.
Council Approval/ Development Application
Where council approvals are required the drawings that have been prepared during concept design will be used as part of the application. A town planner may be required during this phase of the project.
This considers and responds to feedback or conditions specifically requested by council. The design will be finalised in preparation for the Tender Documentation Stage.
This develops the concept plan into a set of drawings including plans, sections and details that a Landscape Contractor will require to provide a price to build the garden. We work with other consultants to detail the specific landscape elements of the project.
When a landscape contractor has been selected, Even Spaces can manage the contractor onsite during construction including answering requests for information.
